THE FUTURE OF PORTABLE TECHNOLOGY

Nanotechnology has made laptops and other small electronic devices possible. Without it, people will stuck to factory sized computers with absolutely not enough speed to even power word processing never less watching full HD videos. Nanotech has reduced, size, weight, design, and increased cooling and performance.

A size of one chip on the motherboard is about 0.002mm squared. Inside it hold two billion of transistor and capacitor. Having so much transistor and capacitor to on off calculations. The thickness of the chip is about 1/16th of a millimetre and design to have multiple layers fibre optics each about 1/24th of a millimetre.

The weight can be described as an A4 paper in outer space. It weight only about 38 nanograms. Having billions of billions of nanotech chipsets are created to weight only about a USB. Thus creating an ultra-portable piece of technology.

Designing what inside a nanotech chipset can be quite long and difficult. Inside are arrays of tiny chipsets and inside them are transistors and capacitors. They are interlocked together in neatness and complexity by threads of fibre optic cables. The design is to have minimum heat but high performance.

The heat to performance ratio is very important due to that less heat means less performance, while on the other hand more performance equals more heat. A new way of cooling is designed so that the power released is the power used to cool down the computer. This turns the ratio into more performance means less heat.

Nanotech has been the heart of portable technology. Not only does it make it possible to have high performance factors but super slim laptops.
